Sean Dronia

Mediating Chaos Through a Lens.

Sean Dronia is an adventuring photographer, author and observer. Currently residing in Bend, Oregon, he was raised in Northern Vermont and spent his childhood playing among the region’s rolling green pines and muddy softwood wilderness. With his knowledge of large/small vehicle mechanics, mountain environments, wilderness survival, first aid and action sports, he frequently finds himself in situations where his experience with challenging conditions becomes useful in keeping spirits high when work requires traveling off the beaten path.

Using his experience with a camera, he frequently shoots in a style dedicated to creating a feeling of authenticity, working with people and environments to produce memorable content that makes an audience feel truly educated and engaged by what they see. His photographic specialties include outdoor products, action sports, canines, landscapes, portraiture and reportage. He also offers creative direction, working with businesses big and small to help produce images that are most cohesive with a brand’s vision. This ensures that every deliverable is uniquely catered and in service to the goals of a business and their creative ambitions.

His latest book, “Mitaca,” is a showcase of Sean’s journalistic capacity. The culmination of months of personal research in Colombia, Mitaca is an educational art piece that helps readers grow a deeper understanding of the culture behind the coffee that they drink. The book features words and images that depict both the coffee making process and the personal sensation of a solo journey through the wilderness of Colombia, of which all was undertaken from the saddle of Sean’s fully loaded bicycle.
